At TGI Fridays, your safety is our top priority. And as our stores are now all open, we wanted to share some of the steps we are taking to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our team members.
To Our Valued Customers & Staff,
First and foremost, we want to express our sincere concern for everyone who has been impacted by the Coronavirus.
The health and wellbeing of our team members and guests is always our number one concern, and we wanted to share with you some actions we’ve taken to ensure your continued safety during these trying times.
At this time, all of our restaurants have transitioned to curbside pick and 3rd party delivery service only, and due to this, we are offering a slightly limited menu that supports this service change.
We have reinforced our already robust quality assurance and safety standards by taking these preventative steps:
- Disinfecting all surfaces across the restaurant, including but not limited to kitchen counters, bar tops, tables, bathroom surfaces, door handles, and other high touch surfaces.
- Educating staff on the COVID-19 threat and preventative measures to follow. Including not letting employees work if sick or if they think that they have been exposed to COVID-19.
- Employing a new no-touch curbside pick-up protocol where customers are not interacting with staff or touching unsanitary surfaces at pick-up.
- For added safety, we’re sealing all orders to limit exposure once it leaves our kitchen.
We have been following the guidance of the CDC and our local health departments and will continue to do so as this situation evolves.
Please stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you in our dining rooms soon.

The popular foodie “Foodgod” has created a NEW amazing dessert that will be served exclusively at TGI Fridays starting on March 17th!
This festive dessert, the Unicornfetti Cake, features party-colored vanilla ice cream, coated with warm, decadent white chocolate [and] lollipop candy crunchies and color-changing sugar crystals… YUM!
This delicious treat was even featured on The Wendy Williams Show! Check it out….
Congrats to Madison Flugga, one of our dedicated & talented bartenders at our Lynchburg, VA TGI Fridays!
United Vice President of Operations Louis Quartochi stopped by the Lynchburg location to recognize the great work they’ve been doing, and he wrote this to share his excitement….
“I stopped in our Lynchburg, VA restaurant yesterday to check in on the team and had the opportunity to see Madison Flugga, one of our bartenders delivering a true ‘Corner Bar’ experience to a group of regulars. As the group was leaving, they made it clear she was ‘tops’ and she was the reason they are loyal regulars! I recognized her with a Vice President’s Gold Star and a bit of $$ to simply say Thank You for all that she does on a daily basis!!!!” – Louis Quartochi, Vice President of United Restaurant Group.
Keep up the good work team Madison (and team Lynchburg) – you make us proud!
We had a VIP in the house!
We’re so excited that the A&E star of Dog the Bounty Hunter, Duane “Dog” Chapman made a stop for dinner at our TGI Fridays in Murrells Inlet, SC.
He was not only kind enough to chat with our team members, but he also took some photos with us. Thanks, DOG…. we hope you come back to one of our Fridays again soon!
As of July 22nd, Miguel Hernandez has been working at our Midlothian Turnpike location in Richmond for 25 years. What an exciting milestone we were thrilled to celebrate with him (and of course some yummy cake and treats)!
Miguel started out at this Fridays as a fry cook. Since then he’s taken on every station, earning the much-deserved title of “Grill Master”, which he still holds to this day.
At 70 years old, he will be retiring soon to spend his time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. We will truly miss his can-do attitude & sunny disposition. However, we will strive to honor him the best we can in his absence!
Congrats Miguel and a big THANK YOU for all your years and devotion to our team. Best of luck to you on your retirement. You will be missed!
