Richmond Fridays Slam Dunk for Local Kids

Richmond, VA – June 27, 2016 – Once again summer time means Will Wade Basketball Camp time for many local youths and once again, Richmond area Fridays restaurants are a proud sponsor. As a key sponsor, United Restaurant Group (TGI Fridays) is awarding four scholarships for this year’s camp, which runs June 20th through July 29th.

Taking place at VCU Siegel Center, The Will Wade Basketball Camp provides instruction for all levels of players, grounding them in the fundamentals of shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense. Coaches strive to equip players with the necessary knowledge and skills to compete at their current level and advance to the next one. Beyond basketball, the Will Wade Basketball Camp builds vital life skills of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Guests & Staff Show Flair for Local Charity

Richmond, VA – June 24, 2016 – With help from guests and employees, TGI Fridays℠ of Swift Creek, Midlothian Virginia raised over $2,600 (in a single evening of flair) for the Autism Society of Central Virginia.

In a kickoff to the upcoming TGI Fridays World Bartender Championships season, bartenders and staff at the Swift Creek Fridays threw a bartender flair party showing off their bartending skills. Proceeds from this one-night event were donated to the Autism Society of Central Virginia, the local affiliate of the Autism Society of America.

“The event was a huge success and a testament to the continued support of our local communities from our dedicated guests and employees,” said Louis Quartochi, Vice President of United Restaurant Group.
